We take everything with a rating plate. Switchgear, regulators, reclosers, breakers, MCCs, panels, and pallet lots.
Utilities and contractors bundle these with transformer lots. We take them, down to a pallet of molded case breakers. Rated by kV class and amps instead of kVA. Photo of the pile is enough to start.

| New Surplus | Never energized, still on original skid or in crate. Highest value. Often overordered project stock. |

| Used, Tested and Working | Removed from service in working order with recent test results available. |
| Used, Untested | Removed from service, condition unverified. Most common category we buy. |
| Decommissioned | Taken out of service during a plant closure, demo, or upgrade. Often in lots. |
| Failed or Burnt Out | Electrically failed. Value is in core, copper or aluminum windings, tank steel, and oil. |
| Leaking | Active oil leak. Time sensitive because of spill and containment liability for the holder. |
| Storm or Flood Damaged | Physical damage from weather events. Common after Gulf Coast hurricanes. |
| Scrap Only | Not recoverable as a unit. Sold on metal content. |
| PCB Suspect (Pre-1980) | Manufactured before 1980 and not previously sampled. Requires oil sampling before an offer is final. Never publish disposal instructions on these pages. |
| Idle in Storage | Spare inventory sitting in a yard or warehouse and tying up capital. Primary target for utility and industrial outreach. |
