Quick pickup
Contractors, recyclers, plants, anyone who wants the unit gone this month.
Send three photos and a ZIP. We make a written offer, schedule a truck, and pay within 3 business days of a passed inspection. Scrap, used, and new surplus. Distribution, substation, regulators, reclosers, breakers, switchgear, MCCs, panels, and breaker lots down to MCBs.
Get an offerConsignment
Owners of high-value power transformers and new surplus who can wait for a better number.
You keep the unit on your pad. We market it to end users and dealers, you approve the floor price, and we split the upside. Best for units above 1 MVA and anything still on the original skid.
Ask about consignmentUtility yard program
Electric utilities, munis, and co-ops with a storeroom that fills up.
We visit on a schedule, at least twice a year. We inventory every unit, pull PCB samples on anything pre-1980, photograph nameplates, and haul. You get a manifest with manufacturer, serial, and your company number, plus the EPA documentation for your file. Free as long as we get to buy the equipment.
Set up a yard visitOn-site scrapping
Large power transformers where freight costs more than the unit is worth intact.
Our crew processes the unit where it sits: drain, sample, cut, sort copper and steel, remove. Above roughly 5 MVA this usually beats hauling. We handle EPA and OSHA paperwork.

Before you send photos.
Any. New surplus, tested, untested, decommissioned, failed, leaking, storm damaged, scrap. The condition changes the number, not whether we buy.
No. The nameplate photo tells us. If the nameplate is gone, send the other two photos and we work from those.
Oil-filled units built before 1980 may contain PCBs. If yours is that age and unsampled, we sample before an offer is final. We do not give disposal instructions on this site. A person handles that conversation.
We do. It is built into the offer. If freight does not pencil out, we scrap on site.
Sometimes. That is what consignment is for. It takes longer and it only makes sense on higher-value units.
A truckload or a yard. For 5 or more units, use the multi-unit path in the form or just call and read us the list.
