What we pay for and why
Value on safety switches comes down to the brand and series, the ratings on the nameplate, what is still installed inside, and condition. New surplus is worth the most. Failed units are worth their parts and metal.

What drives the number
Heavy duty 600V switches are the industrial standard and sell faster than general duty 240V units.
Stainless NEMA 4X and other specialty enclosures carry a premium over standard NEMA 1 and 3R.
200A and up are bought individually. Smaller switches are bought by the lot.
Contractors over-order disconnects. Unopened boxes price close to the top of the range.
Reading the nameplate
The label is inside the door. The catalog number on it encodes duty, poles, voltage, amps, fusible or not, and the enclosure. That one photo is usually all we need.
Freight and rigging
Small switches palletize. A 30A switch is a few pounds; 800A and 1200A switches are hundreds. Liftgate trucks cover most loads.

Send the other photos and whatever you know. Illegible nameplates route to a slower queue, but the lead still gets a call.
We do. Liftgate truck, flatbed, or crane, depending on the size. Tell us if the unit is truck accessible.
Yes. Clean, working switches with doors and handles intact sell. Rusted or burned switches are metal value.
No. Fuses are separate. If you have spare fuses, we buy those too.

Selling more than one kind of gear? Put it on one offer. Mixed loads ship together and the freight math gets better for both of us.
