Photograph the label inside the door with the TH or THN number, and the enclosure. GE counts wires as well as poles, so a 3 pole switch with neutral starts TH43.

How to read a GE Spec-Setter TH and THN heavy duty safety switch catalog number.
T, then duty (H = heavy duty), then N if non-fusible (blank = fused), then number of wires (2, 3, 4 or 6), then number of poles, then voltage (2 = 240 V, 6 = 600 V), then amps (1 = 30, 2 = 60, 3 = 100, 4 = 200, 5 = 400, 6 = 600 A). Enclosure suffix: blank = NEMA 1, R = NEMA 3R, SS = 4/4X 304 stainless, SS316 = 4/4X 316 stainless, J = NEMA 5/12. Other suffixes: DC = 600 V DC, VW = viewing window, B = bottom feed.
Not sure? Type it into the catalog lookup or text a photo of the label.
- Stainless SS and SS316 units are worth more than painted NEMA 1.
- 400 and 600 A units carry far more value than 30 and 60 A units.
- New in the box with the label intact brings the most.
- We do not publish prices. Metal, demand, and condition move them. You get a written number for your unit.
GE adds a wire-count digit that Square D, Eaton and Siemens leave out, so the GE equivalent of a Square D H361 is TH3361. GE's 800 and 1200 A switches use the TC prefix instead, such as TC72367. The line is now sold as GE Spec-Setter by ABB.
Three photos price most GE Spec-Setter TH and THN heavy duty safety switch offers.
The label
The catalog number, straight on and in focus. For a pallet, one label per model plus a count.
The unit
Front, sides, and anything damaged. Doors open if it has them.
The lot
The whole pallet or shelf. New in box: the box labels.
The label is inside the door. The catalog number on it encodes duty, poles, voltage, amps, fusible or not, and the enclosure. That one photo is usually all we need.
- 01Send the nameplate
Photos or a list with counts. Text, email, or the form.
- 02We read it and reply
During business hours, by whatever contact method you picked.

Per unit or per lot. Freight is in the number.
- 04We pick up and pay
Our truck and our rigging. Wire or ACH within 3 business days of a passed inspection.
Freight: Small switches palletize. A 30A switch is a few pounds; 800A and 1200A switches are hundreds. Liftgate trucks cover most loads.

Yes. SS and SS316 suffix units are worth listing separately.
The label inside the door and the outside of the enclosure.
Both. New surplus, used, untested, and failed all sell. Condition sets the number, not whether we buy.
