Each NOVA-TS pole has its own data plate with serial number; the system also includes a common junction box and the Form 6-TS control. Photograph each pole's plate, the junction box, and the control nameplate. Eaton's NOVA-TS manual applies to serial numbers beginning with CP57 (and, on 15 kV units, above 999).

How to read a Cooper NOVA-TS triple-single recloser catalog number.
NOVA-TS ratings are written as voltage class, interrupting rating in kA, then continuous current in amps.
Not sure? Type it into the catalog lookup or text a photo of the label.
- Complete systems (three poles, junction box, control and cables) are worth more than loose poles.
- 630 A and 800 A ratings are more versatile than 400 A.
- Solid polymer construction means no oil handling.
- We do not publish prices. Metal, demand, and condition move them. You get a written number for your unit.
Each NOVA-TS pole has its own yellow manual trip handle and contact position indicator, so one phase can be open while the others are closed. The triple-single control can be set for any of three modes, which is why utilities use these on feeders with mostly single-phase load. The NOVA STS puts all three phases in one tank with one control cable. SEL lists the NOVA-TS and NOVA-STS on a 26-pin interface with no SEL cable available, so most stay paired with Eaton Form 6-TS controls.

The label
The catalog number, straight on and in focus. For a pallet, one label per model plus a count.
The unit
Front, sides, and anything damaged. Doors open if it has them.
The lot
The whole pallet or shelf. New in box: the box labels.
The nameplate is on the recloser head or tank. Photograph it with the type, voltage, continuous current, and interrupting rating in frame. Photograph the control nameplate and the control face separately.
- 01Send the nameplate
Photos or a list with counts. Text, email, or the form.
- 02We read it and reply
During business hours, by whatever contact method you picked.
- 03You get a written offer
Per unit or per lot. A range if we need to sample or test, firm after. Freight is in the number.
- 04We pick up and pay
Our truck and our rigging. Wire or ACH within 3 business days of a passed inspection.
Freight: Single-phase hydraulic reclosers are light enough for a liftgate truck. Three-phase units and their frames need a forklift or crane. We plan it.
Selling a Cooper NOVA-TS triple-single recloser: what people ask.
Yes. Single poles, full sets, and spare controls are all bought.
Yes. Send a photo of the control nameplate.
Both are triple-single reclosers. The NOVA STS puts the three phases in a single tank; the NOVA-TS uses three separate single-phase units.
Both. New surplus, used, untested, and failed all sell. Condition sets the number, not whether we buy.
Oil-filled units built before 1980 may contain PCBs. We sample before an offer is final and handle the paperwork. We do not give disposal guidance on the web.
