Form 6 controls built before the serial number breaks (10,000 for pole and yard mount, 20,000 for rack mount) have their own installation manuals and some different board revisions. ProView schemes are tied to software version, and Eaton warns not to open a ProView 4.0 scheme with ProView 4.0.1 without converting it, so record the firmware version when pulling a control. Eaton now also offers the Form 4D and Form 7 controls.
Three photos price most Cooper Kyle Form 6 recloser control offers.
The label
The catalog number, straight on and in focus. For a pallet, one label per model plus a count.
The unit
Front, sides, and anything damaged. Doors open if it has them.
The lot
The whole pallet or shelf. New in box: the box labels.
The nameplate is on the recloser head or tank. Photograph it with the type, voltage, continuous current, and interrupting rating in frame. Photograph the control nameplate and the control face separately.

Our truck and our rigging. Wire or ACH within 3 business days of a passed inspection.
Freight: Single-phase hydraulic reclosers are light enough for a liftgate truck. Three-phase units and their frames need a forklift or crane. We plan it.
Selling a Cooper Kyle Form 6 recloser control: what people ask.
Yes. We buy controls on their own, pole, yard or rack mount.
Yes. Send a photo of the nameplate and front panel.
Yes. Battery condition does not stop a purchase.
Both. New surplus, used, untested, and failed all sell. Condition sets the number, not whether we buy.
Oil-filled units built before 1980 may contain PCBs. We sample before an offer is final and handle the paperwork. We do not give disposal guidance on the web.
