Kyle documentation lists the Form 4C in a family of compatible controls (Form 2, Form 3, Form 3A, Form 4A, Form 4C, FXA, FXB and Form 5) that work with reclosers fitted with Type B sensing CTs. Eaton states all reclosers built since 1989 have Type B CTs. Older Type A CT reclosers were built for Form 2, 3 and 3A controls. The 24 Vdc battery should be recharged after no more than three months of storage, so a long-stored Form 4C usually needs a new battery.

The label
The catalog number, straight on and in focus. For a pallet, one label per model plus a count.
The unit
Front, sides, and anything damaged. Doors open if it has them.
The lot
The whole pallet or shelf. New in box: the box labels.
The nameplate is on the recloser head or tank. Photograph it with the type, voltage, continuous current, and interrupting rating in frame. Photograph the control nameplate and the control face separately.

Freight: Single-phase hydraulic reclosers are light enough for a liftgate truck. Three-phase units and their frames need a forklift or crane. We plan it.
Selling a Cooper Kyle Form 4C recloser control: what people ask.
Yes. We buy them working, untested or failed, with or without cabinets.
Yes. Older Kyle controls are in scope. Send a photo of the front panel.
Tell us the battery status when you request a quote and we will advise on pickup.
Both. New surplus, used, untested, and failed all sell. Condition sets the number, not whether we buy.
Oil-filled units built before 1980 may contain PCBs. We sample before an offer is final and handle the paperwork. We do not give disposal guidance on the web.
