Photograph the lineup nameplate and the unit nameplate, plus the starter, overload and breaker labels. If the nameplate is missing, the handle style and bucket width identify the design: F2100 units use a lever handle and a 13-3/4 in. wide bucket.

- FlashGard units with retractable stabs are worth more than standard plug-in units.
- Complete units with overload relay, control power transformer and door bring more than stripped buckets.
- Large feeders, VFD units and Size 4 to 7 starters carry more component value.
- We do not publish prices. Metal, demand, and condition move them. You get a written number for your unit.
Eaton's renewal-parts literature states that F2100, Advantage, Series 2100 and 5 Star unit wrappers are mechanically identical, all with a 13-3/4 in. bucket and 15-5/8 in. door. That is why Freedom buckets are routinely used to fill older Westinghouse lineups. Freedom units use Freedom Series starters, while Series 2100 and 5 Star originally used A200 starters. Eaton dates the Freedom MCC from 1995 and FlashGard from 2008.
