S&C sells Type SM and SML power fuses separately only to electric utilities and other qualified power users. Everyone else gets them as part of S&C Custom Metal-Enclosed Switchgear, which is why so many industrial sites have S&C fused switch lineups. SM fuses are not designed for live switching; the interrupter switch does that job. SML-20 and SML-4Z mountings add a Uni-Rupter interrupter for 200 A single-pole live switching up to 27 kV line-to-line.

Each section carries a nameplate, usually inside the front door or on the instrument panel. Photograph the lineup nameplate, one breaker nameplate per type, and a wide shot of the whole lineup with doors closed.

Freight: Sections typically ship split, one or two vertical sections per pick. Each section can run from 1,500 to over 5,000 pounds with the breakers out. Breakers ride separately on pallets. We bring the rigging plan; you tell us about door widths and floor access.
