The interior catalog number and ratings are on the label inside the panel, usually on the dead front or the interior side rail. Photograph that label, the breakers and the box and trim.

How to read a Square D NQ panelboard catalog number.
Merchandised NQ interiors read NQ, then 4 for three phase 4 wire (no digit for single phase 3 wire), then the circuit count, then L for main lugs, then the mains code (1 = 100 A, 2 = 225 A, 4 = 400 A, 6 = 600 A), then C if the bus is copper.
Not sure? Type it into the catalog lookup or text a photo of the label.
- Copper bus interiors (C suffix) are worth more than aluminum bus.
- Panels with a full set of QO or QOB breakers bring more than empty interiors.
- Complete interior, box and trim sets are worth more than interiors alone.
- New surplus in the carton brings the most.
- We do not publish prices. Metal, demand, and condition move them. You get a written number for your unit.
NQ interiors ship with a solid neutral and an aluminum ground bar kit and are field convertible to top feed. The same NQ interior takes either plug-on QO or bolt-on QOB breakers. Square D notes that some local codes, including those referencing the 2005 or earlier NEC, limit panelboards to 42 circuits, which is why both 42 and 84 circuit interiors are listed.
Three photos price most Square D NQ panelboard offers.
The label
The catalog number, straight on and in focus. For a pallet, one label per model plus a count.
The unit
Front, sides, and anything damaged. Doors open if it has them.
The lot
The whole pallet or shelf. New in box: the box labels.
The panelboard label sits inside the door or on the dead-front trim. It lists the series, voltage, ampacity, and short-circuit rating. Shoot it plus a photo of the interior with the breakers.

Selling a Square D NQ panelboard: what people ask.
Yes. We buy loaded panels, empty interiors and loose QO and QOB breakers.
Yes. We buy interiors alone, though a complete box, interior and trim set is worth more.
The interior label with the catalog number, the breakers, and the trim and box.
Both. New surplus, used, untested, and failed all sell. Condition sets the number, not whether we buy.
