How to read a Eaton Pow-R-Line 1a (PRL1a) panelboard catalog number.
Pow-R-Stock interiors read PRL1A, then 1 for single phase 3 wire 120/240 V or 3 for three phase 4 wire 208Y/120 V, then the mains amps, then X, then the circuit count, then A for aluminum or C for copper bus. Newer PRL1X interiors follow the same pattern.
Not sure? Type it into the catalog lookup or text a photo of the label.
- Copper bus interiors are worth more than aluminum.
- Panels with installed breakers bring more than empty interiors.
- Complete box, interior and trim sets bring more than interiors alone.
- We do not publish prices. Metal, demand, and condition move them. You get a written number for your unit.
The PRL1a catalog number spells out its own ratings, so a clear photo of the interior label is usually all we need. Distributor listings show some PRL1A interiors as discontinued alongside a PRL1X family that uses the same numbering. A trailing S on some catalog numbers marks a variant without TFL.
Three photos price most Eaton Pow-R-Line 1a (PRL1a) panelboard offers.
The label
The catalog number, straight on and in focus. For a pallet, one label per model plus a count.
The unit
Front, sides, and anything damaged. Doors open if it has them.
The lot
The whole pallet or shelf. New in box: the box labels.
The panelboard label sits inside the door or on the dead-front trim. It lists the series, voltage, ampacity, and short-circuit rating. Shoot it plus a photo of the interior with the breakers.

Both. New surplus, used, untested, and failed all sell. Condition sets the number, not whether we buy.
