What drives the number
  • E9000 units fit current GE and ABB production structures, which keeps demand for used buckets.
  • Arc Flash Mitigation (AFM) units with vertical bus shutters are worth more than standard units.
  • Complete units with door and original devices bring more than stripped buckets.
  • We do not publish prices. Metal, demand, and condition move them. You get a written number for your unit.
From the yard

GE literature states an E9000 MCC can be spliced onto an existing 7700 Line, 8000 Line or Spectra MCC at 1200 A and below without a transition section, because the horizontal bus location matches. Main bus of 1200 A and above with 4 in. bars needs a transition section. 65 kA bracing is standard. The product is now sold under ABB.

Photos we need

Three photos price most GE Evolution Series E9000 motor control center offers.

01

The nameplate

Straight on and readable. Voltage, ratings, model, and serial in frame.

02

Inside

Doors open: bus, devices, controls, and anything burned or missing.

03

The whole unit

A wide shot plus what is around it, so we can plan the pick.

Each vertical section has a nameplate, usually at the top of the section or inside the top door. Each bucket has its own label. One section plate plus a sample of bucket labels gets you a number.
