- Switchboards with Masterpact or PowerPact electronic-trip mains bring more than thermal-magnetic mains.
- I-Line sections full of breakers add value; I-Line breakers resell readily.
- 3000 A and larger mains and copper bus bring more.
- Outdoor 3R units with rust or water intrusion lower value.
- We do not publish prices. Metal, demand, and condition move them. You get a written number for your unit.
The I-Line distribution panel lets a breaker plug onto the panel bus and then fasten to the pan with screws, which is why I-Line breakers are so easy to reuse. QMB is the group-mounted fusible switch alternative. Sections are 91.5 in high with base channels, and sections 3000 A or less ship with removable lifting bars. QED-2 is the front-connected line; Square D's rear-connected drawout line is QED-6.

The nameplate
Straight on and readable. Voltage, ratings, model, and serial in frame.
Inside
Doors open: bus, devices, controls, and anything burned or missing.
The whole unit
A wide shot plus what is around it, so we can plan the pick.
The switchboard nameplate is usually on the front of the main section, sometimes inside the door. Shoot it with the voltage, ampacity, short-circuit rating, and series in frame. Then a close shot of each breaker label.

Selling a Square D QED-2 switchboard: what people ask.
Yes. We prefer them complete with the main and the I-Line breakers in place.
Yes. We buy I-Line breakers alone or with the switchboard.
Yes. New, never-energized switchboards are a big part of what we buy.
Both. New surplus, used, untested, and failed all sell. Condition sets the number, not whether we buy.
