Read the catalog number

How to read a Siemens Sentron Power Center catalog number.

The first digit is phase: 1 for single-phase 480 to 240/120, 3 for three-phase 480 delta to 208Y/120. LPC is the Sentron Power Center. The next three digits are kVA, with 007 for 7.5 and 022 for 22.5. A JA suffix marks the bolt-on breaker version. CU adds copper windings and SS a stainless enclosure.

What drives the number
  • Units with the factory ED primary breaker and secondary main in place are complete and easiest to resell.
  • Bolt-on JA versions and stainless SS enclosures are less common.
  • Branch breakers left in the panel add value.
  • Failed transformers still leave breaker and enclosure value.
  • We do not publish prices. Metal, demand, and condition move them. You get a written number for your unit.
From the yard

Siemens states no breakers other than the ED frames furnished are approved for the primary, so a unit with a swapped primary breaker should be noted. The 1LPC005 and 3LPC009 ship with copper windings as standard. All Sentron Power Centers are UL listed for service entrance. Branch breakers were never included from the factory, so an empty panel is normal.

Photos we need

Three photos price most Siemens Sentron Power Center offers.

01

The label

The catalog number, straight on and in focus. For a pallet, one label per model plus a count.

02

The unit

Front, sides, and anything damaged. Doors open if it has them.

03

The lot

The whole pallet or shelf. New in box: the box labels.

Nameplate is on the front cover. For a lot, one nameplate photo per model plus a count and a group shot of the pallet does it.

FAQ

Selling a Siemens Sentron Power Center: what people ask.

Yes. Siemens shipped them without branch breakers, so an empty panel is how most of them left the factory.
