Series + poles + voltage digit (4) + amps. The middle letter is the interrupting class.
Interrupting class: D, then G, then J. EGB and EJB carry more than EDB.
- Clean panel takeouts in 1-pole 20 and 30A are the volume. 3-pole 60 to 125A are where the value sits.
- Factory shunt trips and auxiliary switches add value; tell us if they are fitted.
- We do not publish prices. Metal, demand, and condition move them. You get a written number for your units.
EDB and EGB are prefixes Square D shares with Eaton for completely different breakers. Square D writes five digits after the series (EDB34060, EGB34100); Eaton writes four plus codes (EDB3100, EGB3020FFG). The logo on the label settles it, and it matters to whoever buys it.

Three photos price most breaker lots.
The label
The catalog number, straight on and in focus. On a pile, line them up with labels facing the camera.
The business end
Line and load terminals, I-Line jaws or bolt-on tabs, and the trip unit or rating plug if it has one.
The lot
The whole shelf, bin, or pallet, with a rough count. New in box: the box labels.
Square D prints the catalog number on the face label. On PowerPact and Micrologic units, add a photo of the trip unit.
- 01Photograph the labels
One clear shot of each catalog number, or the whole shelf with labels facing the camera. A list with counts works for new in box.
- 02We read them and reply
During business hours, by text, call, or email, whichever you picked.
- 03You get a written offer
Per breaker or per lot. Subject to inspection on pickup.
- 04We pick up and pay
Our freight. Wire or ACH within 3 business days of a passed inspection.
Selling Square D E-frame bolt-on: what people ask.
Only if the panels are staying. If the whole panelboard is coming out, sell it with the breakers in it. An interior full of EDB or EGB is a better sale than the same breakers loose.
In quantity, yes. 20A 1-pole EDB and EGB out of lighting panels are one of the most common lots we buy.
Both. New in box, panel takeouts, tested used, untested used, and cosmetic damage all sell. Condition sets the number, not whether we buy.
We sort it from your photos into what resells as a unit and what goes by weight, then make one offer for the lot. Clear label photos are what make that fast.
