Tmax XT catalog numbers read frame, interrupting letter, U for the UL version, poles, then amps. XT1HU3020 is XT1, H, 3-pole, 20A. On XT5 and larger the amps are written in tens: XT5NU340 is a 3-pole 400A unit.
The letter after the frame number is the interrupting class (N, S, H, L, V and so on). Higher classes cost more new and carry more used.
Tmax and Emax trip units (Ekip) are modular. Photograph the trip unit and any modules fitted.
